Sometimes we experience dead zones or (Wi-Fi dead zones), which are areas within a wireless LAN location where Wi-Fi does not function. This problem can typically be caused by radio interference or range issues.  Some interference is caused by thick walls or metallic barriers; dead zones can also be caused by other radio sources, such as competing Wi-Fi networks, electronics and other sources of electromagnetic interference (EMI).

However, it is important to ensure that not too many access points are added to prevent destructive interference between two access points. The extender RE450 works with any standard wireless router but you get better results if you use router   of the same brand such as TL-WR840N router, TL-MR3420 router, and AC1750 Mesh Wi-Fi router.
